Hi, I’m Sarah (she/her)
I believe that when we are able to be authentic while being in relationship it can lead to transformation and healing. I support my clients in compassionately learning more about how they show up in the world and in relationship with others by using mindfulness.
I have been immersed in the world of couples and relationships since 2016. Prior to becoming a therapist, I assisted and co-facilitated relationship skills workshops, and also coached couples using Nonviolent Communication (NVC).
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). You can read more about my education and training here, and more about me and my values below.
Outside of the therapy world, I am delighted when I get to spend time outdoors, and can often be found exploring nature or the plentiful food spots around Portland with my loved ones.
EVERYONE IS WELCOME
I am affirming of ethical non-monogamy (ENM), polyamory and open relationships. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming, actively learning anti-racist, body positive, sex positive, and kink positive.
YOU ARE THE EXPERT
I believe that clients are the experts of their lives and that my job as a therapist is to facilitate a process of self-discovery and transformation.
MY IDENTITY
I am a white, cis, able-bodied, hetero-passing, middle-class woman living and working in Portland, Oregon (occupied land of the Clackamas and Cowlitz).
