Training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT):
Although I love serving clients in my private practice, I also see clients at the Portland DBT Institute (PDBTI), which allows me to do something important to me: serve a wider range of clients, and clients who would be inappropriate to see in a private practice setting. DBT is a powerful mindfulness-based therapy that includes teaching life and relationship skills. My private practice is not focused on Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, so I am not listing training I have attended in DBT here, but if you’re curious about this, please ask!
