MINDFULNESS-BASED GROUP THERAPY
Discover and share your needs
Are you bummed about the state of your relationships?
Are you over feeling constantly misunderstood?
Are you at a loss at how to ask for what you need?
Are you ready to feel empowered with new tools in a group setting?
Relationships are hard. You’re in the right place.
Our Radical Relating groups teach you to communicate directly from your heart.
What’s so radical about relating?
We think it’s a radical notion to slow down, pay attention to how we feel and communicate that to other people in a relational way. These skills-based therapy groups are focused on all things relationship. We often include a how to talk about it component in each group, and explore different topics related to the doing and being of relationship.
We regularly run groups, so check back here or join our mailing list to get notified about our future Radical Relating offerings.
Our Group Vision.
Learn.
Group topics may include: learning to listen from your heart; learning a structured way to connect with your loves ones; finding your feelings and needs; sharing your feelings and needs with someone else; directly sharing something you appreciated; directly sharing something that negatively impacted you; assertively requesting something you need; negotiating when someone says no; ways to say no (boundaries).
Explore.
These groups are great for folks interested in exploring in a deeper way how they do relationship. We are interested in helping foster your curiosity for how you show up in relationship, and helping you try on new ways of being (not to say they are “right” or “wrong” but to give you more options). This level of self-exploration can be deep and transformational. And, it’s a way to seriously level-up your relationships.
Practice.
We know these skills take lots of practice. We’re into experiential learning, and so you will be in learning bite-sized pieces, and then will be diving into practice with real examples from your life. You will be assigned to work with other participants in break out rooms, and we will (virtually) roam and/or be available to help. We want to create a space that feels comfortable exploring how you show up in the world.
