Communication Skills Group for Authentic Relationships
A 6-session introduction to Compassionate Communication
Have you ever walked away from a hard conversation wishing you had said it differently — or feeling like no matter what you said, it didn’t land?
Maybe you find yourself shutting down, saying too much, or just cycling through the same argument again and again. You want to connect. You want to be understood. But the words just don’t get you there.
You’re in the right place.
About the group
This group is an introduction to Compassionate Communication developed by Marshall B. Rosenberg — a practiced, grounded framework for saying what’s true for you in a way that helps you move into more connection.
Rooted in the same values that guide my work as an EFT therapist, Compassionate Communication (also called Nonviolent Communication, or NVC) is a skills-based approach to help you:
Get clearer on what you’re actually feeling
Discover the needs underneath your reactions
Make requests instead of demands
Listen in a way that makes people feel truly heard
Stay present — even when things get hard
This isn’t about being “nicer” or walking on eggshells. It’s about learning to speak and listen in a way that keeps you connected to yourself and to the people you care about.
Who This is For
This group is for individuals who want to communicate more skillfully — whether you’re in a partnership, navigating family relationships, or just ready to stop feeling stuck when things get hard. No previous experience with NVC or therapy required.
This groups is especially a good fit if you:
Struggle to express how you feel without it turning into conflict
Find yourself holding back to keep the peace
Want to deeper your relationships but aren’t sure how to start
Are in individual or couples therapy (with another therapist) and want to build skills along side that work
